This 1988 Jaguar XJ6 Vanden Plas is a two-owner, highly original example with the rare "Majestic" package, powered by a 3.6-liter inline-6 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. The car benefits from a recent tune-up and a new serpentine belt, brakes, and tires and features heated leather seats and seatback picnic trays. This XJ6 has been with the seller for four years and is offered with a new California indoor car cover, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear Kentucky title.
The body is finished in Alpine Green with chrome accents and quad headlamps. The car has reportedly been lightly used and well cared for, though imperfections are noted in photos. Specifically, some bubbling at the base of the automatic antenna and peeling of the paint on the lower portion of the left front fender.
18” chrome wheels with Jaguar insignia on the center caps are wrapped in brand new 205/70 tires. New brakes have recently been fitted as well.
The interior is finished in tan leather and comes with the "Majestic" package. Features consist of woodgrain trim, a power moonroof, climate control, power-adjustable, heated front seats, and seatback picnic trays. Electronics are reported to function aside from the electric "forward" switch for the driver's seat. The seller asserts that the seat can be adjusted manually.
Additional interior features include an AM/FM/cassette stereo, a trip computer, cruise control, and more. The odometer shows approximately 153k original miles.
Power is delivered by a 3.6-liter inline-6 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. Recent work consisted of a tune-up, installation of a new serpentine belt, and oil and filter change.

Thank you for the question. Yes! It works very well. In fact, every electrical component works perfectly except that the driver seat motor does not move forward. It can be adjusted manually. This is quite rare for a Jaguar. She has been very well cared for. We are moving to the beach and have simply run out of room.
